“Pilates“ This is a brilliant form of exercise, that helps you to move with greater ease in everyday life. It improves your posture, tones and strengthens your abdominals, back and pelvic floor. It helps with flexibility, challenges your balance and coordination, and even helps with tension and stress.
These sessions use the original pilates exercises and add some more functional elements from Fitness Pilates. Therefore some of the exercises are done standing rather than the whole session being on the mat, so the body is better trained and prepared for everyday life.
NB: Thursday: 09:30 & Friday 9.30am are “Intermediate Pilates” These sessions move at a faster pace, and are ideal for someone that has covered basic Pilates.
“50+ Fit & Fabulous” This session combines low impact aerobics, with strength and toning exercises that will get your feet moving, your heart pumping, and your whole body stronger and fitter.
